Fresco fabrics are high twist open weave fabrics. This means that multiple yarns are used to weave the fabric, creating spaces between the threads, allowing air to easily pass through. The high twist weaving method also makes the fabric strong and wrinkle-resistant. Such fabrics often feel harder and stiffer than, for example, worsted wool.
