3 piece ladies’ suit Tiffany van Soest

This 3 piece ladies’ suit consisting of a jacket, waistcoat and trousers is another unique project that we, together with Tiffany 'Time Bomb' van Soest, have created. Tiffany is world champion kickboxing and also has an artistic side involving painting with her fists - Tiffany Time Bomb Art.

The most striking thing about this ladies suit is of course the fabric. The fabric is a curtain fabric that stretches 40 feet across which has been rolled out on the ground and then painted by Tiffany. This is done by placing tubes along the body and then shadow boxing causing the paint to spread across the canvas.

With this kind of art project it is important to ensure a good acrylic mix so that the paint stays in place and gives a beautiful third dimension to the fabric because of its structure.

Ladies’ jacket:
The model is based on the Hollywood chic 1930s style and features:
1 button on the front and 2 buttons on the cuff which are also covered with fabric.

no split
the cuffs and lapels are left white for added contrast to the dyed fabric

Pair of trousers:
The pants are made with a straight leg, wide waistband, side pockets and welt pockets on the back. The most important thing is the fit, especially for women in top sports.

Waistcoat:
The waistcoat is simple and is a single breasted model with 3 buttons and a fabric back with the dyed fabric.

The fabric, a Navy Plum Gun Club Fancy Tweed weighing 340 grams per metre, combines classic patterns with rich colour nuances and provides both the weight and structure required for a feminine silhouette with an elegant drape.
