Bespoke Jacket Wool Cotton Silk (Caccioppoli Napoli)
Why this jacket was made this way
Some clients arrive with a very specific vision, while others bring a set of practical requirements. In this case, what mattered most was how the jacket would be worn, regularly, in a variety of settings and across several seasons.
The owner appreciates clothing that looks polished without feeling heavy. Having researched the subject thoroughly and watched several of our videos beforehand, he was ready to discuss the finer details. The result is a jacket that combines structure and comfort, light enough to enjoy wearing every day, yet with enough shape and presence to look equally at home on more formal occasions.
The cloth is a crease resistant blend of wool, linen and silk. The wool provides the right drape, the linen contributes breathability and moisture wicking properties, and the silk adds a subtle, luxurious sheen. At 240 g, this creates a practical jacket that feels exceptionally light and supple to wear. The distinctive check gives it a structured look and character. Equally suited to everyday wear and special occasions.
