The Covert Coat is a knee-high rain resistant overcoat made in Twill. The name is derived from the old English word for “a thicket hiding game” and is originally worn during Horse riding.

The Peacoat is as practical as it is stylish and warm, especially when made in Cashmere Wool like this bespoke variant. The term Peacoat probably derived from the old Dutch of West Frisian word for Pijjekker. The Peacoat has made its origin at least in 1720 and was primarily worn by sailors. The long variant is called Bridge Coat. The Peacoat has broad lapels, a broad collar, big buttons and vertical pockets.

One of the most luxurious variants of a coat is a Cashmere overcoat. This model is based upon the Covert Coat in Cashmere Doeskin by Holland & Sherry. Doeskin is made from the undercoat and is extra soft and isolating. Another benefit is that Cashmere is crease free, light weight and very good at regulating the moisture balance. This overcoat is tailored in a 310 gram cotton which is water and wind resistant yet a breathing fabric. Also very durable and ‘quiet’. Thus well suited during hunting or other activities where sound is an issue. This trenchcoat has the following features: Double Breasted, Epaulettes, Storm (Gun) Flap, Removable Belt, Cuff Straps and a single pleat, finished with silver coloured buttons.

This is a real classic. A bespoke overcoat made from 850 gram lambswool. Tailored in a double breasted model with peak lapels 13 cm wide. Also with this piece the construction is Full Canvas and the button holes are stitched by hand.

A tweed coat made in a special model with stand-up (Nehru) collar to be worn during the bohemian winter wedding. A Flannel wool overcoat meant to be worn over the jacket or jersey. We use this flannel for winter suits but also often for in-between coats when it is not that cold but a coat is needed. This flannel wool overcoat is a double breasted variant, with broad lapels with buttonhole, side pockets double split and padded buttons. The full canvas construction makes the coat very supple and easy to wear. The lapels can be fully closed to fully provide cover for the neck.
