The Covert Coat is a knee-high rain resistant overcoat made in Twill. The name is derived from the old English word for “a thicket hiding game” and is originally worn during Horse riding.

The term Peacoat probably derived from the old Dutch of West Frisian word for Pijjekker. The Peacoat has made its origin at least in 1720 and was primarily worn by sailors.
